Are You Eating Enough
Food for Libido?

How often we have sex could depend on how much food for libido we eat.

According to the Durex World Sex Survey - globally we are having sex:

  •  103 times per year, or
  •  1.98 times per week, or
  •  0.28 times per day, or
  •  0.012 times an hour, or
  •  0.00019 times per minute!

Considering sex is one of the most pleasurable, natural, and healthiest activities we can engage in, these statistics seem a little low.

Could it be that we aren’t eating enough food for libido?

They say you are what you eat. Are you the spicy sensual chilli, or are you the hydrogenated oil in a chocolate cake that has been sitting around for months in a box at your nearest supermarket?

We seem to be having enough sex to procreate and fill the planet with people, and we seem to be seeing sex everywhere through commercials, songs, and movies. But are we really enjoying an active, satisfying sex life that is possible? Are we enjoying it and feeling truly fulfilled by it, if we are having it in the first place?

Sexuality Starts with the Food we Eat

Sex is our birthright, it is as natural and essential to our life as the food we eat. And speaking of foods…there is food for libido that brings out our inner wild, energetic sexual beast, and there are foods that make us want to sit on the couch and get up only to grab some more food or go to the toilet.

Food is what gives us our nourishment. It provides us with the libido vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. Food gives us energy, makes our organs function properly, balances and creates our hormones, builds our cells, and brings us and our sexuality to life.

On the other hand, food can suck our energy, damage our organs, create imbalances in our hormone levels, and make us feel sick and lustless.

Some foods are considered aphrodisiacs because they are genital look alikes. There is a whole food science that claims we can always tell what a certain food will help by the way it looks. For example, an avocado is good for the heart and grapes nurture the eyes.

In the case of genitalia, I don’t think you can get any better than the banana and the fig. Or perhaps the asparagus and the kiwi could be your magic sex potion.

Whatever foods you eat, make sure they are food for libido to ensure a healthy, active, spicy sex life.
