There are a number of essential sex drive vitamins and minerals for a harmonious libido and an energetic, optimum sex life.

Selenium

Selenium is essential for sperm production and mobility. It is vital for optimum sexual performance and sex drive. Foods high in selenium include fish Brazil nuts and barley.

Zinc sex drive is required for the production of testosterone.  Zinc content of the prostate gland and sperm is higher than in any other body tissues.  It is the important for erection, vitality, virility, and libido. Foods high in zinc sex drive include oysters and pumpkin seeds.  

Magnesium

This trace mineral is important for the production of sex hormones such as androgen and estrogen.  Neurotransmitters that modulate the sex drive, such as dopamine and nor epinephrine require magnesium.  This mineral is also needed for a balanced emotional state, as well as properly functioning muscles. Foods high in magnesium include chocolate (especially raw), pumpkin seeds, spinach, and artichoke.


Vitamin A

This is one of the most essential sex drive vitamins. It helps regulate the synthesis of the sex hormone progesterone. Sweet potatoes, carrots, mangoes, spinach, cantaloupe, dried apricots, and egg yolks are all good sources of vitamin A.

Vitamin B1-Thiamine (B1)
